SERGEY KOROLEV SIGNED PHOTO: TALKING TO VOSHOD CREW - KOMAROV, FEOKTISTOV, COA!

It's offered to your attention the black-and-white photo of the Soviet early space program Chief Designer Sergey Korolev talking to the crew members of the first multiseat spacecraft Voshod - cosmonauts Feoktistov (right) and Komarov (left). Voshod was successfully launched in 1964 from Baikonur. Komarov was the commander, Feoktistov was the cosmonaut-engineer. This photo has been taken on Baikonur launch pad prior the launch of Voshod, during one of the cosmonauts training.

The photo has the original signature of Korolev, as he usually signed "Yours Korolev".

Provenance. This photo came from the estate of OKB-1 engineer Alexey Lobnev, who worked there with cosmonaut Feoktistov, and also tried to get to cosmonauts group (passed 2 medical tests but failed the 3rd one). Lobnev participated in Vostok creation and rescued Vostok, Voshod and Soyuz spacecraft after landing. He met the early cosmonauts and knew many of them personally. He collected their signatures and his family decided to sell part of his collection after his death in 2004.
