Such Russian handmade suits were traditional dress for Russian women in 18 - 19 centuries. This kind of suit was mostly spread in the Ryazan region of Russia.

The suit consists of 5 things:
- long white shirt, traditionally decorated in bottom, arms and neck,
- black skirt, decorated in bottomand embroidered withsquares,
- apron, decorated with braid and fringe horizontally directed,
- cape, traditionally decorated, without fastener,
- kokoshnik (caped head-dress, decorated, with bow).
Suit is traditionally decorated with murals to protect a woman against the evil spirits - the "frame" around the neck to protect the head and the neck, the vertical line - to protect the stomach, and the bottom horisontal line - to protect the legs.

This dress has been made in Moscow according to 18-19 centuries "fashion". Many hand-work!!! This could be a very good gift to Russian dancer or history lover, balalaika player, or just as unusual decoration!
