Sergey Volkov is the first cosmonaut of the second generation. His father cosmonaut Alexander Volkov flew onboard space stations Salyut-7 and MIR, retired in 1998. Commander of the ISS-17 mission at the age of 35, Sergey Volkov was the youngest person to command the ISS in its history. Like his father, Sergey accomplished 3 space flights spending almost 548 days in space. He made 4 spacewalks of the total duration of over than 23 hours. Titled as the Hero of Russia, Sergey Volkov has many awards. Sergey left cosmonaut team in 2017.

Flown in space for 181 days watch Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute 1962 used by Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov onboard the International Space Station during ISS-45/46 mission. This limited series of 1962 watches is devoted to the space mission of Scott Carpenter on May 24th, 1962 onboard Aurora 7. This particular watch has the number 22. Sergey Volkov worn it periodically within the flight. He broght the watch back to the Earth onboard Soyuz TMA-18M.

ISS-45/46 FLOWN SERGEY VOLKOV TZK-14 HYPOTHERMIA PROTECTION WARM SUIT, COA

The hypothermia protection warm suit TZK-14 is intended to be used by Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov upon his return from space mission ISS-45/46 for survival in case of abnormal landing of Soyuz TMA-18M in cold and windy conditions. This particular suit was compactly packed in 3 soft packages and placed into Soyuz TMA-18M lander for Sergey Volkov, having his initials VSA on all the packages. The suit was the part of survival kit named "Granat-6", and this name is also presented on its packages. The space mission ISS-45/46 successfully accomplished from September 02, 2015 to March 02, 2016, totally lasting 181 days. Due to exact landing and quick rescue of the crew, the warm protection suit has never been used as intended and remained unopened until March, 2019. Then Sergey Volkov unpacked the suit to make sure of its undamaged state and take its actual photos.

Compression suit "Kentavr" (centaurus) - the equipment from the estate of Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov. The compression suit was flown onboard ISS-45/46 and used by Sergey Volkov on descent and after the flight. The parts of the suit have the initials VSA standing for Volkov Sergey Alexandrovich, as well as the name, size 55-35, serial number K39.000.00 and individual number 196.
The compression suit "Kentavr" is recommended for long-term flying cosmonauts, i.e. for those who fly longer than 45 days, for better post-flight adoptation. It consists of the shorts and galters, adjusted to the cosmonaut's legs with lacing and zippers. Cosmonauts should put the suit on prior donning the underwear. The suit is necessary for supporting the blood supply to the head and the upper parts of the body after landing. It should be used within the first week on Earth.

ISS-45/46 FLOWN SERGEY VOLKOV BUOYANCY BELT NEVA-KV WITH INFLATABLE FLOATS, COA

Sealed bag containing the emergency belt Neva-KV with two inflatable floats. It's intended to provide positive buoyancy to a cosmonaut after an emergency escape from Soyuz lander upon its landing onto a water surface. Flown in space for 181 days, this package was included into Soyuz TMA-18M survival kit for its crew member - the Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov. As Soyuz landed on the ground, Sergey never used the package and left it unopened and even sealed. Adjusted to his waist girth, the belt has been marked with Sergey Volkov initials (VSA), packed and sealed into the bag with the same initials. In case of splashdown and subsequent emergency the bag should have been opened, then the cosmonaut should have put the belt on over his Sokol KV-2 spacesuit and escape the lander.
