1960-S SOVIET HIGH ALTITUDE PRESSURE SUIT Si-9 HELMET

It's offered to your attention the helmet for the Soviet high altitude pilot pressure suit Si-9.

Si-9 was the most popular pressure suit for jet pilots, it was spread widely in 1960-s in the Soviet Union. It was also used for cosmonauts training.

The design of the pressure suit allowed to use it without oxygen mask. It was pressurized and could be used for stratonauts too.

The photo below shows the group of the Soviet military jet pilots in Si-9 pressure suits.
