VOSHOD-2 LEONOV BERKUT SPACE SUIT PRESSURE EQUALIZER

It's offered to your attention automatic air pressure equalizer for "Berkut" pressure suit what was used by cosmonaut Alexey Leonov for his first in the world EVA during Voshod-2 mission in 1965.

This particular air pressure equalizer:

  • has been designed for the first in the world EVA,
  • was made in 1965
  • is named as AD-6E ("AD" stands for Russian "avtomat davleniya")
  • was used by Leonov during his space walk outboard Voshod-2 in "Berkut" pressure suit,
  • is oriented to equalize (level) the air pressure in "Berkut" space suit,
  • works automatically,
  • has no adjustable controls.

    The pressure equalizer has been FLOWN onboard Voshod-2 spacecraft.

    COA can be given to the buyer upon request.

    Condition - used. The equalizer looks cosmetically good but used. There are paint looses and scratches on it. Technically its work has not been tested.
