Historical reference. Since the space flights duration went up, the cosmonauts needed to utilize their "human wastes", in other words, they needed space toilets. This space toilet is the earliest in the Soviet space program. Using of such toilets began with Soyuz spacecraft in early 1970-s. This particular toilet was used as an exhibit in Museum of Atheism in Kiev, Ukraine, what was disbanded in 1990-s.
